I’ve written this before: It’s not really about Poker at all.
It’s a social thing.
In recent weeks, Mita (yesterday), Paul and David have all joined the call just to say hello when not joining the poker game.
We have a poker game, but we also have a social call which people are welcome to join if they haven’t yet signed up, have problems signing up or getting the Pokerstars software to work that week (it can happen, for such a big platform the software is frequently updated but then can have glitches requiring a restart or even a reinstall from time to time) or miss the late registration cut-off and just want to say Hi, or not actually interested in the poker but want to join socially.
So if you are a poker player and not able to play the full game, please do consider just joining the call anyway for a few minutes to say Hi. It is always nice to see everyone. Even if you haven’t joined for ages – even more so in fact in that case!
